Acronym Brewing Co.

Our main goal for this brand was to create a bold, modern identity that still felt rooted in the craftsmanship and tradition of brewing. As a new brewery in Fox Point, Milwaukee, it was important that the brand felt both elevated and approachable. The design system centers around a strong, geometric logomark inspired by brewing ingredients, paired with clean, confident typography to establish a clear presence across applications.

 

We also introduced a subtle retro influence through select shapes and graphic elements, giving the brand a sense of familiarity and history. This is most evident in the tertiary logo, which draws inspiration from vintage fuel price flip signs, a direct nod to the building’s past life as a gas station. A rich, earthy color palette pulls from hops, grains, and the brewing process itself, allowing for flexibility while maintaining cohesion. Supporting elements like iconography and structured layouts were developed to extend seamlessly across menus, merchandise, and packaging, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand experience.
